In the area of the Shandong Laizhou,the characteristics of the intermediate frequency induction furnace users are the concentrated distribution and more users.So the influence is emphasized increasingly to the area.Based on the nessary large and long-term measurement, the area power quality needs to be analyzed according to practical situation.On the assistant of the gold power company,typical load is measured.The measurement spots are 35kV transformer substation,mine transformer substation and intermediate frequency induction furnace users.According to the present situation of the power supply system about the intermediate frequency induction furnace,the paper analyzes the users’ harmonics,and proposes the comprehensive management plan.The paper analyzes detailly the harmonic about the users of the intermediate frequency induction furnace and 35kV transformer substation,develops the simulation software of harmonic filter and reactive power compensation in the power supply and consumption system,and gives out the result about the grid harmonic.According to the practical situation of the harmonic about intermediate frequency induction furnace,the paper proposes the plan about the elimination to the harmonic.
