Cardiac carcinoma is a common malignant in thoracic surgery. Nowadays radical resection is a most effective treatment measures. These years there are many differences and disputes in operation pathways , resection modes and digestive tract reconstructions. There is an important significance in discussing surgical approaches to carcinoma of cardiac carcinoma. Based on literature reviewing about diaphragmatic hernia via thoracic approach, abdomen approach or thoracic and abdomen approach, we discuss the clinical indications of different surgical methods in cardiac carcinoma deeply.
