As a part of teaching contents，Constitutional Thinking Training is a teachingactivity in classroom, which is an important part of the higher law education anddetermine the success of law teaching to some extent. At present, though severalcontents about Constitutional Thinking Training had been researched withinacademics in China, they were not systemic and thorough. Based on the law thinkingtraining, they didn’t have characteristics of Constitutional Thinking Training itself.Therefore it is difficult to answer why and how we train Constitutional Thinking, thereasons for the above issues are lacks of teaching process and theory in the researchfield.The Constitution Law is the basic law of the Nation. It ensures the order of theState power and protection of civil rights. The judgment of law relations is closelyrelated to thinking patterns. When an issue is presented involving the ConstitutionalLaw, there are important thoughts and clues to solve it, which provide criticalviewpoints for the dispute settlements. For this reason, theoretical research ofConstitutional Thinking Training gives methodological support to constitutionaldispute settlements. It is necessary for students to have Constitutional ThinkingTraining in the law teaching process. To impart knowledge to students and acquirepractical ability are crucial tasks in the process of Constitutional Law teaching.This thesis confirms the value of Constitutional Thinking Training based on theresearch of connotation and characteristics of Constitutional Thinking Training itself. Then the contents and means are discussed respectively, which can be interpretedto what and how to teach. Based upon the macro‐teaching concept, ConstitutionalThinking Training should set teaching goals that focus in the development ofconstitutional consciousness and professional qualification, integration ofknowledge and value system shaping, theory and practice, as well as impartingknowledge and acquiring practical ability. In terms of choosing teaching contents, itmust be carried out on the core concept of, Constitutional Thinking Trainingincluding constitutional language, concepts, norms analysis and rebuilding, factclassification, ways to interpretation as well as the implementation of reasoning,and so on. Considering choosing teaching methods, there should be distinct waysreflecting characteristics of constitutional thinking, theory of constitutional law andtext teaching, case teaching.
