Has long been the guiding learners learning motor skills , people have always thought that the essentials of action so that learners are fully aware operation , limbs , torso , head of space , the relative position of the time , as well as the limbs , trunk and head coordination between action successful learning conditions ( eg , Adams, 1971 ; the Fitts' Posner, 1967 ; Grosser Neumaier , 1982; Meinel Schabel , 1987 ) . Recently , however , more and more studies show that such focus attention to the action itself \1998) , so that learners focus attention on the action and effects \fixed-point shooting , volleyball serve and football lob balancing task has been verified. But an obvious lack of these studies are closed of motor skills (closed motorskill ) , in open motor skills require more complex attention (open motor skill) there is little evidence , therefore this study the purpose is to verify the role of external attention focus strategies in table tennis open motor skills . 20 subjects were randomly distributed equally to the the two attention focus group learning table tennis backhand accuracy . Its focus attention to the movement of the arm and shoulder and elbow internal attention focus group guide learners to external attention focus group put focus attention to the movement of the racket . As the practice progresses , the two groups of children hitting accuracy with the exercises have improved the accuracy of the ball than the the inherent attention focus group external attention focus group higher, the performance of motor skills and learning better . This indicates that the external focus of attention strategy in Table Tennis open motor skill learning also has the same role in promoting universal external focal point advantage in the Note provides strong evidence .
