Aesthetic education in Chinese reading comprehension is to scan in the view of aesthetics and instruct the whole process of reading teaching. It can make a student cultivate the temperament , purify soul , gain healthy aesthetic sentiment and interest , lofty graceful affection , rich culture knowledge accomplishment, form the correct aesthetic view and philosophy on life, improve aesthetic quality thereby and ultimately reach the highest degree of good, kind and genuine. But because of the examination-oriented education’s long range effect, aesthetic education in Chinese reading comprehension in junior middle school didn’t get fully developed and there are blind areas to be explored in the studying. According to the current situation and cause of formation, the paper disserts the effective approaches in the four aspects of the inner link between aesthetic education and reading comprehension and the features, approaches, matters needing attention of reading aesthetic education in reading. In the process of reading comprehension teacher should instruct to seek for all the possible beauty-making factors, by creating the atmosphere for aesthetics, cultivating aesthetic psychology, emphasizing aloud reading, putting heart in to the materials, enriching imagination, studying the words used and apperceiving figures to ultimately make apperception, appreciation and creation of beauty become reality.
