Along with the computer and the development of advanced manufacturing technology, the virtual manufacturing technology arises at the historic moment. As the key technology of virtual manufacturing, virtual machining process simulation in this area is an important research direction. In the virtual machining simulation system, how to realize in the numerical control milling machining surface geometric simulation, which directly influences the machining accuracy and surface roughness and module of the simulation results, it is the process of simulation is an important research content. This paper introduces the virtual environment tool geometry entity model and tool scanning body modeling; Use is triangular patch discrete method, realize the three axis CNC milling machine entity cutting processing discrete vector and tool scanning body geometry intersection algorithm; Through the constantly updated blank data information to simulation tool cutting process, thus generating machining path and tool path. With Visual C 6.0 for programming environment, use OpenGL as graphics development tools, dynamic simulation tool processing surface processing locus and tool path. Finally, through a surface processing simulation examples, the software reliability evaluation.
