With the continuous development of enterprises, the material type increases, has brought new challenge for enterprise’s logistics management. The complex of product’s crafts and long production cycle has certain effects on the material management of enterprises; the enterprise hasn’t an overall control on the production progress. Extensive production management,unfulfillable product responsibility, the quality of products can not associate with processing personnel, crafts, materials, suppliers and so on; Poor after-sale products services, the lack of predictability in product quality failures. These problems enable enterprises need to establish a logistics management system supporting product and material tracing and tracking that associates material purchases, inventory, production and sale and improves enterprise logistics management level, thereby increasing the competitiveness of enterprises. In this Dissertation, the logistics management system supporting product and material tracing and tracking are studied in order to enhance the quality assurance on the basis of logistics management.In the aspect of theory research, the model of batch management, the model of logistics management supporting material tracking and tracing and algorithms of tracing and tracking are proposed. Firstly, the paper puts forward the significance of carrying out tracing and tracking by means of researching on the characteristics of aviation enterprises, then introduce the concept of batch material management. The reason of carrying out batch management is furtherly expatiated and the method of batch management is briefly introduced. Then the paper proposes the model of batch management and gives the fomal specification of the batch management. Subsequently, the concept of tracking and tracking BOM is introduced and the model of logistics management supporting product and tracing and tracking are studied in this Dissertation. Finally, owing to information integrity of business papers we propose the method of tracing based on complete information, the method of tracing based on incomplete information, the method of tracking based on complete information and the method of tracking based on incomplete information.In the aspect of implementation, we develop a logistics management system using the CERP application software framework, the system includes three functional modules: basic data management subsystem, business papers management subsystem, materials tracing and tracking subsystem. Finally through an introduction of the application system in Hongdu Aviation Industrial Group, we give the theory a validation.
