The Analysis of the Growth Factor Related with the Secondary Glaucoma in the Anterior Champer of Silicone Oil-filled Eyes

Objective: To determine silicone oil tamponade secondary glaucoma aqueous humor vascular endothelial growth factor and basic fibroblast growth factor levels in silicone oil tamponade secondary explore the potential role of glaucoma , as well as growth factor levels in aqueous humor the relationship between changes and IOP . Methods: double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect the quantitative VEGF and bFGF levels in aqueous humor . Experimental groups as follows: ① 18 patients with senile cataract as normal control group 20 silicone oil tamponade secondary glaucoma ② 16 patients 16 as a patient group (SOF group ) ③ complexity eyes with retinal detachment (CRD group ) 16 Example 16 . Among the groups of age, gender difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). Results : SOF anterior chamber of patients were significantly higher than normal water VEGF control group and CRD group , bFGF was significantly lower than the control group and the CRD group , the differences were statistically significant (P lt; 0.05); SOF former patients VEGF levels in aqueous humor and the intraocular pressure and silicone oil filling time was positively correlated (r = 0.905,0.915, P lt; 0.05), bFGF content and intraocular silicone oil filling time and no significant correlation . CRD group and normal control group, the aqueous humor VEGF and bFGF were not significantly different (P gt; 0.05). Conclusion: Patients with secondary glaucoma eyes filled with silicone oil in aqueous humor were significantly increased VEGF , bFGF decreased significantly , suggesting that both the silicone oil tamponade secondary glaucoma progression has a certain effect.
