Objective: To compare with 2% glutaraldehyde , oxidizing water after soaking at different times , alginates , agar , silicone rubber, polyether rubber impression materials, dimensional stability and elastic deformation . Methods: four kinds of impression material from the system of the two mold impressions , the stamper were measured dimensional stability and elastic deformation of each material from the system each mold 3 groups of 6 , a total of 144 . Were divided into three groups, one for the clean water as a control group , and the remaining two groups were 2% glutaraldehyde , oxidizing water soak 15min, 30min, 45min, measured with a microscope before and after immersion impression material mark the line length of the The data were statistically analyzed. Results : 1. Using a 2 % glutaraldehyde , oxidizing water after soaking treatment , die size and elastic deformation (P lt; 0.05), and the deformation increases with time . (2) Different size and impression material elastic deformation between different changes (P lt; 0.05), the lowest rate of change of silicone impression . 3 alginate and agar impression soak 30min , the dimensional changes were significantly different (P lt; 0.05), polyether rubber, silicone rubber , and soak 45min , the dimensional changes were significantly different (P lt; 0.05). 4 Use oxidizing water immersion disinfection with 2% glutaraldehyde solution for disinfection effect on die size was no significant difference (P gt; 0.05). Conclusions : 1. Prolonged immersion disinfection on the impression material dimensions and elastic deformation exists impact on alginate impression the greatest impact on the silicone impression with minimal impact . 2 agar and alginate impression soak 15min, silicone rubber , polyether rubber impression for 30min dimensional stability of the die had no significant impact. 3 oxidizing water can be tested in clinical impression of disinfection.
