TMACS (Tyre Monitoring and Auto Control System) is different from TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System). TPMS studies the monitoring about the tyre, while TMACS studies the monitoring and auto-control about the tyre. TPMS is very simple while TMACS is complicated. TPMS is applied to the small vehicle which has 4 tyres, while TMACS is applied to the big vehicle which has about 10 tyres. TMACS adds the auto control circuits and it adjusts the pressure and temperature about the tyre according to the measure. TMACS improves the several performance of the vehicle and can be applied to several vehicles. Currently, a lot of manufacturers are studying TMACS.The study has been made on TMACS which is applied to the big vehicle and is based on TPMS. The scheme of TMACS is put forward and the system is implemented according to the scheme. TMACS have two modules, the central module and the tyre monitoring module. The tyre monitoring module measures the pressure and temperature and transmits the data to the central module. The central module receives the data, revises the data and displays the data on the LCD. The central module adjusts the pressure and temperature of tyre according to the data. The structure and principle of TMACS are included in the paper. The tyre monitoring module is described in detail. The scheme of the tyre monitoring module is designed. The hardware of the tyre monitoring module is implemented. The component of the tyre monitoring module is described in detail. The software of the tyre monitoring module is designed and implemented. The measure about the pressure and temperature of tyre is finished. The data measured is revised. The communication between the central module and the tyre monitoring module is finished. The waking-up of the tyre monitoring module is implemented. The system is tested in the condition which is simulated.
