Development of High Speed Data Acquisation and Playback Module Based on PCI Express Bus

At present, In the areas of aviation and radar data acquisition on the increasingly demanding high-speed. Meanwhile, we also need to a system of hardware playback. Considering this applied background, this thesis designs a high speed data acquisition and playback module based on PCI-E BUS, to adapt to high-speed data acquisition requirements of the field.In this paper, cross-sampling technique to achieve a high-speed data acquisition functions. High-speed digital-to-analog chip AD9773 is adopted to achieve the hardware playback.DDR2 memory is adopted to store high speed data. PCI Express is adopted in order that our PC machine can control the working manner and data transmission of the high speed module. FPGA is used to design logic controller. At the same time, this thesis achieves the successful control for interface of PCI Express, for AD acquisition circle, for DA hardware playback circle and for DDR2 control circle, using VHDL.Using the software of WinDriver, we develop hardware drivers of the system to visit the registers of inside PEX8311. Also, we develop the software of main computer with Visual C++ to achieve the function of loading data, showing data wave, managing data hardware playback, controlling module and other functions.The designing thought is proved to be true through the actual testing and running results, the module being developed achieves the basic request of all kinds of technology guidelines.
