Based on the necessity of interaction effect research. This paper based on the large general finite element software, the calculation model is established based on the combined action of the frame structure, raft foundation and foundation. It mainly analyzes the internal force and deformation characteristics of the frame structure, raft foundation and foundation, so as to promote the theory research and application of interaction effect of the superstructure - the foundation– subsoil.First, the paper mainly introduces calculation method and theory research about raft foundation and former foundation model which researched by predecessors. There are many ways of calculating about raft foundation. From the simplified calculation method to the specific methods given by the national standards, then the emergence of numerical analysis method .Along with the development of engineering practice, the calculated method based on raft foundation is also in constant updates. In practical engineering projects, we must learn to find suitable for specific engineering actual circumstance in a reasonable calculation method and connecting with the geological condition choose appropriate foundation model.Then it focuses on the mechanism of interaction effect about the superstructure - raft foundation - the foundation. Interaction analysis is essentially the superstructure、base and its foundation to meet the conditions of static equilibrium, while at the same time meet the deformation compatibility condition. Technical personnel are more and more interested in the analysis of the interaction. Interaction analysis methods applied to engineering design, will make the design safer, more economical and reasonable.Then it mainly analyzes a reasonable method of analysis model which established by finite element software. As a kind of more efficient numerical analysis method finite element analysis are increasingly being used to solve engineering problems. The basic analysis theories of most of the analysis software are finite element analysis. When using the finite element analysis, we should establish the precise model is reasonable. We must also pay attention to some of the model and an important parameter selection in order to make modeling more convenient.Finally, according to a specific project, finite element calculation models were established and the results of calculation were analyzed. Handed the upper frame column and raft foundation connection, raft and foundation contact problems, raft boundary conditions were also addressed. When changed the stiffness about one of the upper structure, raft and foundation, considered and without considering the interaction effect condition, analyzed the influence of these internal force and deformation. Obtained on the analyses conclusions of the superstructure, raft foundation and foundation interaction. Compared with traditional local analysis, interaction effect calculation results are obviously different. Interaction analysis to practical engineering design practice has positive significance.the calculation results which considered the interaction effect of finite element analysis obtained more tally with the actual situation. Optimizing suggestions to engineering designs and supplemental revising proposes to current foundation designs.
