Vehicle positioning system based on GPS global satellite positioning technology , GSM / GPRS modern mobile communication technology , geographic information system technology and computer network technology in one , not only to assume a major role in the intelligent transportation system , but also can provide anti-theft , anti-robbery and alarm a variety of services . The design is based on the Open AT platform vehicle positioning terminal using a high-precision , high-sensitivity GPS positioning module and wireless CPU communication module , by authorization SMS or GPRS channel to receive commands and send the appropriate information , be able to achieve real-time monitoring of vehicles , anti-theft , anti-robbery and anti- speeding, to ensure the safety of the vehicle , to strengthen the fleet vehicle management , vehicle utilization efficiency , reduce vehicle operating costs . This paper describes the GPS global satellite positioning system and GPRS communication system used to develop embedded applications in the Wireless CPU operating system , Open AT and AT command , discussed in detail based on the Open AT platform designed vehicle positioning terminal The overall design , hardware design and software design .
