In recent years , China 's automotive industry has made great progress , at the same time , the security of the vehicle is also growing concern by the people . With the vehicle driving safety is closely related to the vehicle steering stability , while the conventional method requires to use many sensors , test equipment , and data acquisition device, by a large number of the actual vehicle experiment to obtain the data and information needed by the Institute ; experiments under the extreme conditions of the real vehicle there is a lot of risk . This no doubt contributed to the extension of the R \u0026 D cycle , a reduction in the efficiency , increase the cost of many other disadvantages . Human - vehicle - road closed loop simulation analysis of the state of the vehicle driving simulation system instead of the real vehicle test , will be able to overcome the real vehicle experiments disadvantage , bring huge benefits . For the high cost of traditional development driving simulator teaching driving simulator to ignore vehicle dynamics and a single drawback driving environment . In this paper, based on desktop virtual reality technology to build a set of low-cost simulation of complex driving environment road vehicles and closed-loop driving simulation system . Mainly to do the following work : the use of a vehicle handling dynamics related to knowledge of vehicle dynamics model program to achieve ; the use of three-dimensional modeling software to create a three-dimensional model of the car ; use lighting model , texture mapping technology to improve the display of the virtual scene models effect ; use of fractal theory and digital elevation model to achieve the establishment of the terrain and road environment model of ; use of external references and instantiation of technology and other scenes show optimization technology , reducing the occupation of system resources to improve the efficiency of the graphic display ; displayed through the scene and as the King drivers, the realization of the virtual display of the vehicle dynamics simulation program , to complete the construction of a closed-loop driving simulation system . Application of the driving simulation system , of uniform from vehicles traveling the state and the road surface friction coefficient cornering change vehicles two separate theoretical analysis and simulation driving the vehicle status data analysis , the closed-loop simulation driving system for vehicle handling dynamics characteristics of data sources at the same time provide a virtual simulation platform for the study of human - vehicle - road closed loop system characteristics .
