With the rapid development of China's highway and increasing car ownership in the whole society, the highway traffic incident also occurred frequently. People enjoy highway brings fast, comfortable, convenient, but also personally felt the inconvenience caused by traffic incident induced congestion. Under the increasingly serious problem of traffic safety, the establishment of efficient highway integrated information management system more and more urgent, effective traffic incident detection is the key management system to run successfully. Traffic incident detection system practical application of the results were not satisfactory, so the study of efficient traffic incident detection algorithm is the current problem to be solved. Emerging information fusion processing technologies - multi-sensor information fusion technologies, Automatic Incident Detection (Automatic Incident Detection, AID) algorithm is designed to provide new solutions. Multi-sensor information fusion technology into the AID method, so that both can be expanded the range of applications of information fusion technology, but also to promote highway safety, and efficient management goals, so the study of multi-sensor information fusion event detection method, a high level of theoretical and practical value. Analysis of the current status quo of Freeway Automatic Incident Detection Technology, combined with the hierarchy and the basic principles of multi-sensor information fusion technology and theory of traffic incident information fusion problems exist for the the AID method of a single sensor-based information, the use of multi-sensor information fusion technology, designed in accordance with the level of information fusion framework, based on multi-sensor information fusion automatic incident detection algorithm. In accordance with the information fusion based the AID method of processing steps used in the data preprocessing stage wavelet analysis method to eliminate the noise of the traffic flow data processing. The AID method of multi-information fusion processing stage, the selection of wavelet neural network algorithm implementation tool modules as event detection fusion algorithm proposed in this paper. Combined with wavelet analysis theory and neural network theory, dynamic highway traffic flow model based Automatic Incident Detection algorithm A wavelet neural network, the algorithm give full play to the advantages of wavelet analysis theory and neural network theory. Then, the highway traffic incident detection technology based on information fusion using MATLAB software simulation to achieve. South Second Ring, Xi'an measured data to test the AID method proposed in this paper is to test the effectiveness of the algorithm on the basis of the relevant research, test results show that information fusion algorithms event detection rate, false alarm rate, the average detection time achieve a higher level of detection, the performance is better than the classic the AID method, proved the superiority of the design is based on the automatic detection of traffic incident information fusion algorithm.
