This paper first detailed block diagram of the system , then introduces the functions of various parts and implementation methods , and finally introduces the specific algorithm, discussed the different algorithms on the system results. System realization algorithm mainly includes flour and bran star image preprocessing identification and measurement algorithms . Image preprocessing in the first bran flour RGB true color image is converted to grayscale star , then discuss the median filtering, Gaussian filtering, morphological filtering , Laplacian sharpening image processing algorithms such as the impact on the final adoption Gaussian smoothing filter plus Laplacian sharpening processing algorithms . On the basis of the pre- image of bran out for testing, discussed including template matching method, linear discriminant method , K -means clustering method and other methods . Finally, the bran and flour out different gradation value characteristics, the image is divided into a plurality of small flour method, the single piece obtained by the image gray value calculated optimal threshold value to calculate the number of stars in the image and the size of the bran .
