Transponder -point transmission of information devices as a medium of information transmission , it has been widely used in the fields of marine, aerospace, communications , and military . Transponder in the 1970s began to be applied to the train control system , mainly for the large amount of data is transmitted to the vehicle equipment to ensure safe running of trains . View of Europe transponder advanced technology and combined with the actual situation of the domestic railway , country to introduce and absorb the European transponder technology in the European Train Control System and used in CTCs . Master European response message coding technology is one of the keys to the successful application of the European transponder technology in China , and China are pre - encoded to generate coded packets , but with the growth in demand for rail operators , the existing the message coding approaches have failed to meet the demand, the Ministry of Railways has put forth a real-time dynamic encoding to generate response packets . Thus , the real-time encoding of the European response packets research has important practical significance and practical value . This paper first introduces the European transponder technology and its application in the CTCS , describes the response packet coding strategy , and then analyzes the message coding algorithm , the key steps of the coding algorithm design of a fast algorithm , and using the software the way to achieve the message coding , verification, and analysis of the correctness of the algorithm and the efficiency of the algorithm . The experimental results show that the the software coding efficiency , unable to meet the requirements of real-time encoding , so consider using hardware to achieve real-time encoding . In this paper, a FPGA-based packet complete solution for real-time encoding , then , according to the European transponder coding strategy , implemented in the Quartus II design platform the coding design input packets and a comprehensive simulation analysis , that the design is correct sex . Finally, in order to fully test the functionality and performance of the entire real - time encoding module , analog TCC designed simulation test platform for packet decoding , communications and other functions .
