Excavation of the finite element numerical simulation analysis

With the development of urban construction , resulting in a large number of excavation engineering and excavation depth increases. As Excavation long duration, high cost, difficult, how to properly structure for excavation system for analysis, design and checking, civil engineering profession has become a hot topic of concern . In this paper, the finite element software Plaxis , using plane finite element model of Shanghai Jinshi Hotel excavation, established a foundation pit excavation, support simulation finite element model to simulate the analysis of the excavation , supporting the entire process . In the analysis, using the Harding-soil model to simulate the soil , retaining structure using beam elements to simulate the anchor rod elements lateral support , setting different conditions to simulate the excavation pit , supporting the process , which can be calculated and analyzed each condition Excavations internal force , deformation and surface subsidence . Through simulation analysis the following conclusions: 1. Excavation , the soil will reset the internal stress distribution , numerical simulation method can visually observe the changes . 2 , FEM simulated excavation , the project can provide decision-making suggestions for optimization . 3, the finite element method adaptable, can simulate the entire construction process , suffered internal force and deformation of the pile have a more accurate calculation . 4, through finite element analysis, building on the foundation near the situation, you can calculate its bottom surface subsidence , thereby calculate the differential settlement , giving safety evaluation .
