Tridax procumbens L.,the Compositae,Tridax procumbens.Originated from the Americas tropics area,latter disseminates in India,the South Peninsula and Indonesia. Introduces places such as Guangdong,Taiwan and Hainan in china.It ueded to treatment hepatitis,hypertension,dysuria,dysentery,and prevent to lose hair.Tridax procumbens L.leaves and flowers had antisepsis and anti-inflammation function,used in the hemostasis.Because Tridax procumbens L.has the advantages for medicinal value,this paper took Tridax procumbens L as the study object,analysis from three aspects as following,provides the scientific basis for this rich plant resources’ development.Application silica gel,RP-18,Diaion HP-20,Sephadex LH-20,MCI-gel C HP-20,Toyopearl HW-40 isolation fillers and isolation techniques,combined wi th the modern spectrum analysis methods(1D,2D NMR,IR,MS) and chemistr y method,obtained 15 compounds,11 compounds structures were determined,t hey were:8,3′-Dihydroxy-3,7,4′-trimethoxy-6-O-β-D-glucopyranoside flavonol(C ompound 1),8,3′-Dihydroxy-3,7,4′-trimethoxy-6-O-β-D-glucopyranoside flavonol-6″-acetate(Compound 2),8,3′-Dihydroxy-3,7,4′-trimethoxy-6-O-[α-L-rhamnopyran osyl-(1→2)]-β-D-glucopyranoside flavonol(Compound 3),6,8,3′-Trihydroxy-3,7,4′-trimethoxy-flavone(Compound 4),Apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucoside(Compound 5), Pentadnecanate(Compound 6),Pentadecane(Compound 7),β-Sitosterol(Compound 8),Stigmasterol(Compound 9),β-Daucesosterol(Compound 10),Bis-(2-ethylhex yl)-phthalate(Compound 11).Compound 1,Compound 2,Compound 3 and Co mpound 4 were new compounds.The rests were isolation for the first time.Aapplication the enzymemark instrument to determined Compound 1,Com pound 2 and Compound 3,the 70%ethanol extracts petroleum ether extracts,e thyl acetate extracts and butanol extracts antioxidant activity.Compound 1 antioxidant activity higher than Compound 2,Compound 3,the sugar base increaseed causes antioxidant activity reduced in the flavanone.The three compounds had the better antioxidant activity than Vitamin E.The ethyl acetate extracts antioxidant activity was the best,the butanol extracts antioxidant activity was next,the petroleum ether extracts was weakest.It in the line with Tridax procumbens L.extraction flavonoid content.Therefore the experiment of antioxidant activity,had the guiding for the effective part.Used the HS-SPME method and the SD method extraction essential oils of Tridax procumbens L..Applied the GC-MS technology determined the essential oils chemical composition,used the areas of peak normalization method to determination the comparative content.The HS-SPME method determined 43 ingredients,occupied the volatile chemical composition 63.56%;The SD methodsdetermined 57 ingredients, occupied the volatile chemical composition 79.82%.
