Webquest is a teaching mode which bases on web and value-oriented for scientific inquiry. In the process of webquest teaching, students must efficiently use the web resources under the guidance of the teacher to inquire independently or in group or in class under the mission-driven, achieve a specific learning task. The inquiry teaching of senior physics on webquest should select some high school physics teaching content according to the teaching objectives, teaching contents, students’ condition, teaching methods and other factors, in order to stimulate students’ interests in learning physics, cultivate the capabilities of scientific inquiry and application of information technology, and promote scientific literacy and information literacy of students.The inquiry teaching of senior physics on webquest should work on the constructivist learning theory, teaching theory of scientific inquiry, information literacy theory to explore the revelation. It has the scenes and the questions, the goals and the tasks, the process and the resources, the conclusions and the evaluations, and other elements; with the characteristics of subjectivity, mission-driven, inquiry, network. To effectively cany out the inquiry teaching of senior physics on webquest, it is necessary to construct the basic instruments, including the exploitation of the internet resources about the high school physics, the construction of the physical inquiry module on high school campus net, the construction of the senior physics inquiry platform, etc.Though the investigation and research on the students about the basic knowledge and application of the net, the students’ characteristics of study ,the writer gets the students’ basic study behavioral tendencies, which is necessary to carry out the webquest teaching. The writer selects 53 students in class 1, grade 2 as the research objects, carries out class mode, teamwork mode, individual mode, three high school physics-based webquest teaching model to explore the case teaching design and make study web, and do research on strategy and practice.In order to verify the effect of the inquiry teaching based on webquest about the students’ knowledge, ability and attitude in physics, the evaluation is an important process. The evaluation should meet that: the evaluation executants should be multiple, the evaluation content should be comprehensive, the evaluation methods should be diversified, to promote the development of students. The research and the evaluation shows that:①The students show interests on inquiring physics in webquest, which obviously enhance the interest on other means of learning physics.②By learning in webquest, students’ information literacy and scientific inquiry ability were improved.③It found no significant role in improving the students’ physics test scores after the inquiry teaching based on webquest.
