Chinese medicine comprehensive treatment of rabbit intervertebral disc degeneration TNF-α, MMP-3 affect the experimental study

Objective : To observe the comprehensive treatment of Chinese medicine rabbit lumbar disc degeneration in the activity of inflammatory factors impact study Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy for lumbar disc degeneration in rats. Methods: 90 healthy New Zealand white rabbits , male and female , with an average age of 6 months , an average weight of about 2.5kg. Through the annulus puncture method to create disc degeneration model . 90 New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into five groups of rows modeling surgery, all groups were sacrificed after taking the nucleus pulposus to observe TNF-α, MMP-3 content and the nucleus moisture . Results: The model control group, TNF-α, MMP-3 levels compared with the normal group were significantly increased, the water content was significantly lower nucleus ; all treatment groups two weeks after the disc tissue TNF-α, MMP-3 levels and compared with the model group were significantly lower , Chinese patching group two weeks after TNF-α, MMP-3 levels with separate internal medicine and sticking there were significant decreases slightly elevated moisture nucleus . Conclusions: degenerative disc after the release of inflammatory factors (?) NF-α, MMP-3 content increases , the water content was significantly lower nucleus ; all treatment groups after a certain time ( two weeks ) could reduce degeneration intervertebral discs inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, MMP-3 levels , by inhibiting the inflammatory response , recovery nucleus pulposus part of the moisture and prevent disc degeneration ; integrated use of two kinds of treatment ( medicine sticking ) certain period of time ( two weeks ) and then decreased levels of inflammatory factors is better than medicine or sticking therapy alone , combined therapy to prevent disc degeneration is better ; TNF-α levels after 4 weeks of treatment were significantly lower , MMP-3 levels in the treatment of six weeks were significantly lower , TNF-α may act as a pro-inflammatory factors regulating MMP-3 as a factor , pending further study.
