Anisodine treatment of age -related macular degeneration clinical observation

Objective : To observe the compound anisodine point injection combined vitamin C, vitamin E, oral treatment of atrophic age-related macular degeneration clinical efficacy. METHODS: September 2009 to February 2010 Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hospital of Ophthalmology clinic atrophic age-related macular degeneration in 30 patients ( 60 eyes ) were randomly divided into treatment group 15 cases ( 30 eyes ) in the control 15 patients ( 30 eyes ) . The control group was treated with vitamin E, vitamin C, the treatment group were treated based on the I Anisodine injection temples alternating injections. Results: 1 ) compared with the control group , the treatment group, the total effective rate was 93.33 % in the control group was 53.33% , higher than the treatment group , the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05), prompt treatment group were excellent comprehensive effect in the control group . 2 ) After treatment, the treatment group and control group patients were improved visual acuity , visual changes, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). After treatment, visual acuity improved in the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group , the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). 3 ) After treatment of macular lesions treated group was significantly reduced compared with before treatment , the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05), while no significant change in the control group , the difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). After treatment, the severity of macular change significantly , suggesting that the reduction of the severity of macular treatment group than the control group . Conclusions: 1 ) compound anisodine point injection combined vitamin E, vitamin C oral treatment of atrophic ARMD1 clinical effect than the control group . 2 ) Compared with control group , the treatment group improved visual acuity , improve the degree of macular degeneration , the effect is better than the control group .
