Purpose: To use of Chinese medicine which named xiao ke bi tong tang treatment of DPN, For clinical medical record through observation and comparison of clinical effectiveness before and after medication and relative advantages of western medicine treatment。Method: Used prospective randomized control design, patients in clinics and therapy area filter out meet the diagnostic criteria in 60 cases of diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients, randomly separate for the control and treatment groups in 30 patients each. Two groups on the basis of Foundation treatment for diabetes, control group given Western medicine mecobalamin tablets oral simplex, on the basis of treatment are control groups for treatment combined with xiaoke bi Tong Tang. Observation on the treatment of 12 weeks, compared to clinical symptoms and analysis before and after treatment..Result: Treatment of symptomatic improvement after treatment for the Group much better than the control group. Total effective rate 93.33% treatment group, control group total effective rate 76.67%. Total effective rate there are significant differences between the two group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Xiao ke bi tong tang and western medicine treatment group compared with the control group were significantly different, the treatment group that total effective rate 93.33%, control group that total effective rate 76.67%, compared with two groups, there is a significant difference (P<0.05). Show that xiao ke bi tong tang in improving clinical symptoms, improve nerve conduction velocity, etc. have good efficacy, and security was good. For the treatment of DPN curative effect of Chinese medicine research and development and application provides a basis has obvious advantages and broad prospects, thereby increasing Chinese medicine on diabetes prevention and treatment of peripheral neuropathy, and research level.
