【Objective】 dubbed and revised Chinese version of the death attitude portrayed Scale - Revised (Death Attitude Profile-Revised, DAP-R), and to verify Chinese version Scale reliability and validity of the middle-aged Christian believers in the application, for the future to carry out the the death attitude study provides a simple measuring tools; elderly Christian believer in the death attitude towards the status quo and analysis of attitudes toward death of the middle-aged Christian believers understand influencing factors. [Methods] follow \Table subject content; using SPSS16.0 software package valid questionnaires, data input, processing and analysis, and a percentage of basic information on the survey of 150 middle-aged Christian believers, are the number of descriptive statistics, and factor analysis of the data analysis and reliability and validity analysis to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the DAP-R scale correlation coefficient and internal consistency Cronbach'sα coefficient and Split-half split-half coefficient; Finally, using the mean and standard deviation , t test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis methods such as analysis of attitudes toward death in elderly Christian believers and its influence factors. [Results] The Chinese version of the DAP-R scale includes 5 dimensions, 25 items, each dimension has five entries; various dimensions of Cronbach'sα coefficient between 0.585 to 0.853, for each dimension Split-half split-half coefficient in 0.598 to 0.809 between the total table Cronbach'sα coefficient and split-half coefficient were 0.840,0.843; Scale entries sensitivity analysis shows that the entries \smaller changes; Factor analysis yielded seven factors could explain 67.075% of the total variance, the scale entry in a common factor higher load values, the range of 0.529 to 0.872, and the most entries into each dimension within only a few entries into the other common factor; of each entry belongs dimension of the correlation coefficient between 0.505 to 0.790, 0.432 to 0.850 (P lt; 0.01); variation common degree analysis shows that the common factor variance greater than 0.5 original scalar information at least 50% of the variance can be explained by the common factor; respondents Approaching accept scores highest, followed naturally accepted dimensions, the fear of death scores lowest; respondents attitude towards death (especially fear of death dimensions) in the belief time, frequency of reading religious books, daily prayer frequency, accept church baptism of support factors, educational level, and living the way showed different; differences in gender and health status; attitude toward death age, education level and religious behavior, such as reading books, prayer, repentance, etc. There is a certain correlation. [Conclusion] Scale Chinese version of the DAP-R as a cross-cultural application tools, in middle-aged Christian believers application confirmed the acceptability, reliability and validity, in line with the requirements of Surveying has high scientific and use value, still need to be verified in a larger sample more crowd; middle-aged Christian believers can correctly understand and accept death, but because of their own religious reasons, the approach to accept scores high.
