Extremely limited kinds of questions used by the majority of large-scale standardized language test speed reading test, for example, multiple-choice, True or False questions, sentences, fill in the blank, etc.. Although language test has high reliability and operability of these kinds of questions, but these kinds of questions posed the test task but a far cry from the real life speed reading activities. Therefore, multiple-choice, and wrong is to determine the title and so can not be regarded as the ideal kinds of questions testing candidates' actual communicative language ability. Thus, a quick reading test for these kinds of questions the authenticity of test tasks lacking. In view of this, the authors of the paper aims to study: whether in college English fast reading notes-Questions (a more close to real reading tasks kinds of questions in the test), to fast reading in college English test authenticity improve such areas as some preliminary exploration. At the same time, provide some reference for the current China's English teaching reform. According to the purpose of this study, the authors first read through the literature, review of basic quality standards and the nature of the reading of the language test. Which focuses on the relationship between authenticity and construct validity of language tests and speed reading test test skills (ie: skimming, check reading and sweep read). Then, select the 111 first-year students of the Shanghai Jiaotong University 114 freshman students and Wuxi Commercial Vocational and Technical College as the two groups were matched group experimental design method, the above two groups of subjects to the respective randomly assigned to the experimental group and two groups of the control group, the experimental group were to complete a set of notes-Questions quick read test questions to complete the quick read Zhenti a CET by the control group, compared to research with four quick read Zhenti this set of test questions, notes type questions tested the same fast-reading ability, difficulty and discrimination. The qualitative analysis of the results also show that the notes-Questions quick reading test for these two groups were well accepted. Thus, the researchers believe that: notes style questions can be used in college English fast reading test.
