The Empirical Study on Influences of Farmers’ Qualities on Their Education Decision-making for Family Members

Since the new century , the party and government attach great importance to the \The causes of the \To this end , this thesis in transfer theory Summary of rural human capital theory , labor , farmers act theory , investment in education theory and incentive theory based on the sample of Jiangxi , Anhui , Shanxi, Zhejiang and Fujian provinces farmers field research to obtain the relevant data , the use of descriptive analysis and correlation analysis methods to analyze the quality of the farmers in the farmers ' level of education , health and skills , as well as household per capita net income of farmers and cognitive characteristics , and then study the family of farmers members of educational decision-making . The study results show that : the eastern farmers relative to the high central farmers and cultural qualities , household per capita net income is too high ; the eastern farmers - holder and cultural qualities the higher , the more likely by means of education to improve the education level of family members engaged in non-agricultural the higher the probability of employment of the industry , the more concerned about their physical health , regular medical check-ups of their bodies on a regular basis , the higher the the central Rural Household per capita net income , the higher the probability of employment engaged in non-agricultural industries , the more that the skills training who are engaged in the work , the role of ; regardless of the eastern and central parts , farmers head of the household , the more skills training for engaged work , the higher the per capita household net income , they will actively to participate in skills training , in order to improve own qualities ; farmers education for their children , the cognitive characteristics of the eastern part of the farmers for the attitudes of their children to school with their own educational decision-making was a significant negative correlation between the central region was significantly positive correlation . Based on the above conclusions , the paper proposes a three-point suggestions : The first is to strengthen rural education , to promote the balanced development of basic education ; second is to speed up the development of vocational education in rural areas , strengthen the farmers ' skills training ; Third, urban and rural development , building to improve the quality of farmers funding protection mechanism.
