Research of Sharing Platform for Heterogeneous Information Based on Database Technology

With the wide use of computer technology in many organizations and units, all kinds of information systems have been employed. And most of the systems are developed based on different database management system (DBMS). The magnanimous information they bear are mostly from different data types and forms. Therefore, DBMS and information are separated from each other in terms of application and data and the systems’ service logic is also different, without following the unified standard in database construction. As time goes by, there will be a huge hererogeneous environment. With the advancement of network and informationization, there is an increasing need for the organizations and units to share, exchange, integrate and reuse. This topic is for the purpose of establishing a system for the sharing and exchanging of information based on database technology. In this way, there is a platform for the organizations and units to share the information more conviniently, timely, comprehensively and consistently.This thesis mainly discusses the sharing technology of Heterogeneous Database. It first analyzes its development home and abroad and points out that system’s architecture should follow the standard of CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architectrue) and preserve the points information according to the multi-table database technology. It should also employ the cooperation and controlling technology of the Heterogeneous Database community based on CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) and at the same time, make the interface frame according to XML. Then, it considers the design of the information sharing and exchange platform of heterogeneous information from several aspects. That is the formulation of the standard for the interoperation of Heterogeneous Database, the pattern construction of distributional database, the heterogeneous sharing based on multi-table database, cooperation and control of Heterogeneous Database community based on CSCW, the multi-layer B/S based on distributional heterogeneous environment, supports of Heterogeneous Database flow control of the commonly used network service agreement and the service pattern, and supports of Heterogeneous Database of commonly used network service agreement and service pattern. Finally, it proposes a integration model of heterogeneous data pool. With the technology in this study, this thesis provides a good information sharing platform to the informationization for different organizations and units.
