Video detection technology has broad application prospects in the traffic detection system . A featured traffic parameters and automatic incident detection systems , vehicle detection is the key point . The traditional vehicle detection methods are unsatisfactory in many respects , and video-based traffic information detection method relative to other detection methods are simple to install , easy to maintain , detection range and rich information . With the development of computer -based video image vehicle detection more and more attention . Papers in Microsoft Visual C 6.0 analysis tools, using CCD camera traffic image information , the moving target in the field of view , image smoothing , background extraction background and threshold Update , shadow removal, image segmentation technology, research and traffic traffic and queuing event detection problem , and gives a background extraction algorithm , the completion of the development in some of the features of the traffic parameters and event detection system . The main contents are: 1 , design the user interface of the traffic parameters and event detection system with * raw format files playback , the video segmentation capabilities and video processing . 2, to achieve the image smoothing, background extraction, the background and threshold profile , image segmentation and other image processing functions . 3 traffic parameters and event detection system to detect traffic flow , queuing event detection function .
