With the development of the surface acoustic wave(SAW) technology, electronic technology and semiconductor technology, SAW devices are applied more widely, especially in the high-frequency and RF fields. Because of its unique advantages, the design of SAW devices and the research of the SAW application become more and more important.This article describes the basic structure of SAW devices, realization principle and comparing to several common structures of SAW devices. Then we proposed two novel architecture of dual track SAW device based on multistrip coupler (MSC) and research how to design this structure and how to build up the oscillator circuit of SAW device mainly.In order to design the SAW device, we introduce the inter digital transducer (IDT) and the basic dimension of the SAW device firstly and emphasize how to use MATLAB to design of SAW device. The design achieve the principle device layout and the actual structure of the device through GUI of Matlab software and the parameters of the device piezoelectric material, the device center frequency, the scaling exponent, etc. can be entered directly on the interface. So this method can realize the intelligent design of SAW devices.In the SAW oscillator circuit, we still use the measuring principle of dual track structure. One way is as the measurement road and the other is as the reference. This structure not noly can realize D-value principle, but also can solve the external environment impact on the measurement of outputs effectively. In this oscillator circuit design, selected frequency element is 101.764MHz SAW device which is designed by our research group. With ADS simulation and testing of oscilloscopes, the circuit performed well. This research realized the software design to hardware application SAW devices. It has important practical significance to the development of SAW devices.
