The equipments of oil drilling transportation companies are consumptive big and management difficult,most of the traditional equipment management system only stays in the basic information on equipment,supplies,inventory control and management of general affairs work, it is lack of statistical analysis of historical information about a large number of daily device management.enterprise senior managers and decision-makers can not be provided supplementary information for making decision and supporting decision. It is not conducive for enterprises to reduce both consumption and inventory, save costs and improve enterprise management level. The Paper uses data warehouse analysis theory and techniques, studies and proposes drilling transportation equipment management data warehouse multidimensional analysis system for enterprise management,decision-making and statistical analysis to provid a supporting environment.The works and major innovations in the paper are:First, the oil drilling transportation equipment management data warehouse is studied and build in the paper. The paper discuss and analyse the features of oil drilling transportation equipment management with data warehouse theory and technology, determine the data warehouse system’s theme and theme domain, the equipment management data warehouse not only solves the data inconsistencies,"spider web" and other issues when doing statistical report, but also provides a complete, consistent and comprehensive data on different particle size for business decision-making.Second,the drilling transportation equipment management data warehouse multidimensional data model is studied and established.The data warehouse’data is processed multidimensionally, which is extracted from the data warehouse to a subset of detailed data, and is gathered the necessary memory to store on OLAP analysis tool for reading, the multidimensional process makes business management personnel observe data from multiple angle, multi-dimensional, and gradually gets rid of dependence on the fixed statement so as to understand in-depth the information contained in the data and content.Third, the drilling transportation equipment management data warehouse multidimensional analysis method based on MDX is studied and showed. With multidimensional expressions (MDX), the paper makes basic multidimensional analysis that data is sliced, cut, drilled and rotated, KPI analysis and canonical analysis, and the results of user queries are visually displayed in the form of various charts, MDX increases of the query efficiency and gets rid of the weak point that traditional SQL language can not effectively support the multi-dimensional view, complex grouping and aggregation operations.Finally, the drilling transportation equipment management data warehouse multidimensional analysis system based on C/S mode is designed. With Visual Studio 2005 development environment and SQL Server 2005 database, the paper designs the oil drilling transportation equipment management data warehouse multidimensional analysis system, and achieves the objectives to analyse the multidimensional data about transport equipment management information, the system and original equipment management information systems complement each other, explore together the implied law in the data and make better business decision.
