A Study of Incentive Approaches in R&D Center of M Company

Knowledge economy era, making the form of competition between enterprises, from the industrial economy of the physical capital, financial capital, competition, and gradually transformed into human capital, competition, particularly to master the most advanced knowledge and technologies into the corporate R&D personnel the focal point. R&D personnel is different from the characteristics of the general staff, they work independently and strong, innovative work, work supervision and difficult process, results have not measured, but also a strong desire to success.Based on incentive theory, we investigate and analyze the incentive system in the R&D center of M Company, in parallel, compared with other R&D centers, we explore the current incentive issues in the R&D center. After that, we propose the actions to improve and protect the effective establishment of incentive mechanism in the R&D center of M Company. The paper studies the improvement of R&D incentives will benefit other R&D centers which could have the similar incentive issues, and accelerate the development of high technology in China, especially for the multi national companies, China will be no more only a significant country for manufacturing but also the country which is important to be able to provide high level expertise to research and develop the new offers.
