Background Psoriasis is a common, erythema, scaling as the main manifestation of chronic relapsing inflammatory skin disease, the Han population incidence rate is about 0.123% of patients with psoriasis about 400 million, mostly for the Green prime of life. Several clinical types of psoriasis, including psoriasis vulgaris is the most common, accounting for more than 90% of the total number of patients. Psoriasis exact pathogenesis is not yet completely clear, now that the disease is a complex interaction of a variety of factors such as a genetic and environmental disease. Possible susceptibility genes including human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genes and non-HLA genes. Psoriasis is not only seriously affect patient survival and quality of life, but also the concurrent or associated with multiple system diseases, such as arthritis, Crohn's disease (Crohn's disease), high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, depression. Foreign literature, psoriasis patients easily associated with metabolic syndrome, including obesity, dyslipidemia, and insulin resistance, but also to the increased prevalence of malignancy. Studies have shown that psoriatic molecular mechanisms and in vivo metabolic dysfunction associated with a variety of pro-inflammatory factors such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNFα), interleukin-23 (IL23) level increased, leading to atherosclerosis and peripheral insulin resistance in turn lead to high blood pressure, diabetes, and other related. Another study found, is likely to have a common genetic basis between psoriasis and concomitant diseases, such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis arthritis common susceptibility gene HLA-B27 ; psoriasis and Crohn's disease have a common genetic loci - is located on chromosome 16q21 region. Therefore, the study of psoriasis associated with the disease not only can improve the understanding of the prevention and treatment of psoriasis, but also provide insight into the pathogenesis of other diseases. Compared with foreign research data, the study reported fewer domestic psoriasis comorbidities. Objective To study the Chinese Han psoriasis associated with disease status. Method collected the total number of cases of 2005 cases, 1563 cases including outpatient and inpatient 442 cases. Outpatient clinical data using a uniform questionnaire record psoriasis patients with disease status, patient clinical data derived from our hospital from 2001 to 2009 complete records of patients with psoriasis is associated with the medical records of the disease. SPSS10.0 software, Student-t test, X2 test analysis for statistical processing and analysis of all the information. Results (1) 2005 cases of psoriasis cases in men and 1223 cases, female 782 cases, the male to female ratio of 1.56:1, with an average age of 43.15 ± 17.16 years, the average age of onset was 31.13 ± 15.77 years, mean disease duration was 12.02 ± 11.39 years. Male initial peak age of onset is 20 to 29 years old, the female the onset peak age of 10 to 19 years old. (2) in this group showed that 24 kinds of complications of psoriasis, including: type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, coronary heart disease, arthritis, vitiligo, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, alopecia areata, the system lupus erythematosus, infection, chronic gastroenteritis, liver disease, kidney disease, anemia, cancer, allergic rhinitis, asthma, schizophrenia and other skin diseases, including infections, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, type 2 diabetes, liver disease, points out the top five. (3) Compared with the general population, patients with psoriasis more easily associated with hypertension (P lt; 0.05), coronary heart disease (P lt; 0.05), hyperlipidemia (P lt; 0.05), 2-type diabetes (P lt; 0.05), arthritis (P lt; 0.05), vitiligo (P LT; 0.05) and systemic lupus erythematosus (P lt; 0.05). (4) Psoriasis patients hospitalized in the prevalence of certain diseases associated with significantly higher than in outpatients, including: chronic infection, hyperlipidemia, cancer, gastroenteritis, coronary heart disease, allergic rhinitis, and kidney disease ( P lt; 0.05). (5) male psoriasis patients with concomitant hyperlipidemia and liver disease (P lt; 0.05), female patients with concomitant anemia, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism (P lt; 0.05). Conclusion Chinese Han patients with psoriasis easily associated with metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, and certain autoimmune diseases.
