Objective: To evaluate Mandibular Advancer functional appliance Teenager Angle class Ⅱ division Ⅰ malocclusion mandibular retrusion low angle in patients with clinical treatment efficacy . Methods: The age of a 9-year-old , female , front teeth covering 9mm of Angle class Ⅱ division Ⅰ malocclusion , low angle in children with functional mandibular retrusion Mandibular Advancer functional appliance night wear , from clinical and X cephalometric comparative evaluation of the two before treatment , after maxillofacial hard and soft tissue changes . Results : Mandibular Advancer functional appliance can effectively make the canine and molar build I occlusal relationship and coordination cephalometric purpose . The SNB increased 1.7 ° ANB reduce 2.1 ° Wits value decreases by 1.6 ° sagittal position of the the base bone between the mandible can be improved . Before dental coverage decreases 7.10mm, bone factors ( jaw - bone - maxillary basal bone ) 4.97mm, accounting for 70% of tooth factors ( mandibular incisors - maxillary incisors ) 2.13mm, accounting for 30% , and the molar relationship changes in 3.86mm, bone factors ( jaw - bone - maxillary basal bone ) 3.75mm, accounting for 96% , tooth factors ( mandibular molars - maxillary molars ) 0.11mm, accounting for 4% . Side angle than before treatment , an increase of 3.21 °, H angle decreased 3.9 ° , and soft tissue profile . Conclusion : Mandibular Advancer functional appliance can effectively promote the growth and remodeling of the lower jaw , side Maung improve coordination , beautiful , production and clinical operation is simple, effective and reliable .
