The Stability Study and Reliability Analysis of Rock Slope

In recent years, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau economy has developed rapidly, the step of highways construction is accelerated obviously,newly built and the reconstruction highways are getting more and more,for this,the slope hazards coming into being frequently, and the life and property has created the heavy loss for the people. Geotechnical slope stability problems also increases correspondingly, and becomes the quite common technical difficult problem in geotechnical engineering. Facing this kind of situation, an urgent need for the study as a theme of rock slope stability and reliability analysis, in order to provide a basis for preventive measures.In this paper, taking the slopes of No.214 national road from Jiegu of Yushu toBaiza of Nangqian as an example, which gains some meaningful results.The specific content and results are as follows:First, union field survey, growth characteristic of slope and rock mass structure characteristic having been studied comparatively, including an analysis on the origin of the different structural plane,spatial distribution characteristic and condition analysis.Under the sign of slope deformation and failure, the mechanism of deformation and the mode of deformation is analyzed,meanwhile,the mode of deformation and failure is generalized.Second, for the model of slope deformation and failure, the UDEC discrete element numerical simulation software being used to carry on the numerical simulation, which has carried on the verification to the slope destruction pattern, and it has taken more rational understanding on slope distortion mechanism and process establishment.Third, the stability influence factor of slope has been carried on the detailed elaboration,the orthogonal test sensitivity analysis method being introducted to the slope stability appraisal research, in order to determine the various factors on the slope of the primary and secondary stability.Finally, based on above sensitivity analysis method, angle of friction and cohesion force are considered as stochastic and independent variables in the calculation. Methods of combining with Sarma method and slope stability analysis (Monte Carlo) is used to take quantitative evaluation of slope stability analysis. also the probability of slope failure and distribution of safety factor are ascertained,which can show the slope stability as better.
