In resource management application, GIS can effectively solve the distribution, graduation, statistics and charting in forestry, agriculture, national territory and so on, such as forest, pasture, land. The quality of the land utilization investigate results with the traditional land can be influenced by human, resource and natural factors.Associating 3S technology, it can provide a high-speed, accurate and high efficiency by using QuickBird high resolution image to abstract the spatial information of the large scale area in the reservoir areaThis essay based on the object-oriented spatial database model Geodatabase, using CASE tool design and construct reservoir area spatial database, and provide data supporting to function of the GIS integrate decision support system for longtan water power plant reservoir area migration. Using version control and deploy QuickBird high resolution image as data source in order to conduct land utilization division. It also gives how to classify data to do the decentralized management and achieve the data real time update in order to advance working efficiency and enforce security issue during the different process of information gathering in spatial database.Here are the main content and results:1) Through the image solution by the QuickBird image, result comparison by different fusion method and focus on the application aim, it can select the best fusion method and band combination way to provide the best data source for obtain the accurate land utilization information2) According to the spatial database building rule and the characterist of the database, it builds the land utilization spatial database based on Geodatabase data model. It include the basic way and flow of how to build spatial database with Geodatabase data model, design database model using UML and achieve logic model by using CASE tool and build spatial database.3) Using the solution of ArcSDE+Oracle 9i to manage the spatial database. According to the actual requirements, it gives the solution to deal with the long issue handling in multi-users parallel operation spatial database based on version control technology. It also gives the best version structure in land utilization and workflow design so that it can achieve the unified management among the different procedures and their spatial data respectively.4) Discuss how to achieve the optimize configuration, backup and recovery of the spatial database.Through the design and construction of spatial database of Geodatabase data model, this essay gives a integral solution to the manufacture practice in large scale land utilized division based on high resolution remote sensing image. In addition, the experiences and methods of the image solution, construction of spatial database, vision judgment and version control in this essay are worth to reference and valuable.
