To Observe the Clinnical Effect of Bu Shen Huo Xue Haustus Treating Kidney-Asthenia and Blood Stasis of Old Patients with Hypertension

Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect and safty of Bu Shen Huo Xue Haustus treating essential hypertension patients.Methods:60 case of inpatients with kidney-asthenia and blood stasis type of EH from 2009.4 to 2009.12 were selected and divided into two groups randomly (treatment group and western medicine control group),and treated one of them with BSHX Haustus and Captopril,the other one treated with Captopril for four weeks. Observe the change of Patients’blood pressure、symptom、TC、TG、LDL、HDL and etc.Results : Both the treating group and the control group can depress blood presseffectively and there is no remarkable difference between the two groups(P>0.05). Both the treating group and the control group can improve patients’clinica symptom effectively,and the treating group had better effect than the control group(p<0.05).Both the treating group an the control group can decrease the level of TC、TG、LDL in blood,and the treating group also can raise the level of HDL . The treating group had better effect than the control group(p<0.05). The percentage of adverse drug reaction(ADRs) of the treating group is 0.00%,while the control group is 13.33%.There is significant difference between the two groups .Conclusions: BSHX austusis effective on treating old patients with hypertension with syndrome of kidney-asthenia and bloodstasis. It can effectively improve clinical symptoms and regulate dyslipidemia and decrease blood pressure .BSHX austusis is safety and reliability.
