Investigation on Knowledge Structure of Municipal Sports School Coaches in Hebei Province

This investigation includes 495 coaches from all sports project in 21 municipal Sports Schools in Hebei Province, using documentary, interviews, Delphi, questionnaire survey, comparative analysis and mathematical statistics and other methods to do research and analysis on the present situation and the composing of municipal sports school coaches knowledge structure in Hebei Province. The main purpose of the paper is to understand the composing of knowledge structure of municipal sports school coaches in Hebei Province and the importance of its all internal elements, and explore the overall state of knowledge structure of municipal sports school coaches and coaches knowledge structures in different sports project groups, and transverse comparison of the knowledge structures of coaches with different sports project, different educational levels and different ways to teach, so as to provide some new ideas and theoretical support for the relevant departments to constitute interrelated policies and regulations to improve the quality of municipal sports school coaches in Hebei Province and train a passel of excellent coaches with rich practical experience and mastery of advanced training theories and scientific knowledge.Through research and analysis, it comes to the following conclusions:(1)In the municipal Sports School of Hebei Province, their age structure is reasonable, and has initially formed a middle-aged and young coach to the coaches as the backbone of the team; senior title coaches are excessive; education structure keeps abreast of the personnel structure of modern society on the whole; the scientific research awareness is weak. As a result, highly educated scientific research coaches are lacking in the municipal Sports School in Hebei Province.(2)At Sports practice, in the municipal Sports School in Hebei Province, 63% of the coaches, who are born of athletes and have an average age of 8.6 years for special training practice and 15.4 years of school age, are very important for them to engage in teaching and training.(3)The knowledge structure of coaches in Hebei municipal sports school refers to the composing of coaches’knowledge. Knowledge of different subjects mutually assort with each other to get the resulting formation of the overall function. The knowledge includes three parts: professional knowledge, professional basis knowledge and other relevant knowledge.(4) The rationality of the knowledge structure of Hebei municipal sports school coaches is influenced more greatly by“professional knowledge”and“professional basis knowledge”than the rest.“Other relevant knowledge”is a secondary factor, but it is a necessary, useful complement. And the importance coefficients of the three are 0.36, 0.35 and 0.29. Showing along with the athletics sports’ unceasing development, the trainer must have the profound specialized knowledge, the deep specialty elementary knowledge as well as the related interdisciplinary knowledge, study and the understanding unceasingly now the sports trend of development, gains the recent information, explores the new teaching training method and the method, carries on the science training.(5)The overall importance of the three parts of professional knowledge, professional basis knowledge and other relevant knowledge of Hebei municipal sports school coaches is decreasing, which is in line with the trend expected by experts, however, there is a definite difference in magnitude between the scores for internal indexes of all parts of knowledge structure from coaches and the importance coefficients of all indexes from experts, which shows that it is not really rational for municipal sports school coaches on the mastery extent of the important indexes of knowledge structure, and the whole mastery, which is only on a common level, is not perfect and needs to be strengthened. Besides, it tends descending from sensibility to sense for all subjects within professional knowledge.(6)Through the analysis on knowledge structure of coaches from different sports project groups, it is found: at the aspect of professional knowledge, the scores of all indexes of measuring and grading coaches are lower than the average level; at professional basis knowledge, hitting coaches and the points of scoring coaches are higher than the average level; at other relevant knowledge, the scores of grading and winning coaches are all lower than the average level. At the same time, to a large extent, it also shows that the knowledge structures of coaches from different sports project groups match characteristics of the project features.(7)With different sports project, different educational levels and different ways to teach, coaches present differently in the knowledge structure. At the aspect of professional knowledge, Hitting and scoring coaches grasp to stress in and this item of group project characteristic related knowledge , of educational levels, the higher academic performance the coaches have, the better performance they grasp, of different ways to teach, the coaches, who graduate from sports academy after retiring, grasp best; at professional basis knowledge and other relevant knowledge, Hitting and scoring coaches grasp the overall performance of different sports project groups comparatively well, of educational levels, the higher academic performance the coaches have, the better performance they grasp, of different ways to teach, the coaches, who graduate from sports academy after retiring, grasp best.
