Affection of Blood Grease, the Level of Serological Leptin and Fat Accumulate by Acupoint Catgut Treatment on Experimental Simple Obesity Rats

Objective: To establish a simple obesity rat model to observe the effects of of catgut embedding of obese rats fat accumulation and leptin expression Preliminary catgut embedding lose weight mechanism . Methods : 50 SD rats to high fat diet combined with oral fed with homemade fat drink was modeling success 28 rats were randomly divided into a control group of obesity and catgut embedding therapy group . Catgut embedding treatment group to catgut embedding therapy, obesity control rats fed normal . After treatment, observation and body weight of rats , Lee's index , abdominal circumference , fat coefficient , total cholesterol ( TC ) , triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( LDL -C ) , serum leptin , the number of fat cells and diameter changes. Results: catgut embedding treatment of rats body weight , Lee's index , abdominal circumference , fat coefficient than the obese control group decreased significantly (P lt; 0.05); total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL -C), serum leptin levels and obesity control group was significantly decreased (P lt; 0.05); catgut embedding treatment group, the average diameter of the fat cells more obese control group was significantly decreased ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , the same vision , the fat cells elevated than obese control group (P lt; 0.05). Conclusion : The high fat diet combined with oral fed with homemade fat drink objects , can be quickly and effectively establish a rat model of obesity , a success rate of 56% . Embedding therapy can reduce the amount of obese rats have increased fat accumulation , regulation of blood lipid abnormalities increased , reducing leptin expression in obese rats . Its mechanism may be central stimulation of the hypothalamus , to regulate animal feeding behavior and fat metabolism , so as to achieve the purpose of weight loss .
