There is a wonderful work—Changde Sixian ,which is gestated in the fertile soil of Hunan culture in the Garden of the Chinese Quyi. It has a long history, a distant source and a long stream ,it also has a rich folk cultural heritage. Changde Sixian was recognized as the first batch of State-level Intangible Cultural Heritage because of its unique artistic charm and artistic value,.Valuing the inheritance of the ethnic music culture, knowing and understanding of other nations’ music, these has become an important tendency in the contemporary development of international music education. Strengthen their own national music education building, improving the music curriculum system are to be resolved is a very important and urgent topic to the musician of music education. Based on the basis of the domestic music education curriculum reform,《the National Normal Universities of Music Studies (Teacher Education) Undergraduate courses mentoring programme》introduced and implemented this background, advanced the conferrance and research of making Changde Sixian to be a higher teacher education’ local course , aiming at promoting the local music and the civil art tradition and innovation in the arts, promoting music colleges and universities curriculum development and reform,opening a new field for the inheritance research of Changde Sixian in the school music education . This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is the summary description of Changde Sixian ,analyzing its social, cultural and academic value of cultural heritage value-based issues , providing a theoretical basis for this paper. The second part is making an investigationin in the local primary and secondary school music education and the continuation of the changde normal university students ,and the analysis of the results, provided research based on facts. The third part of the Changde Sixian as a high-division courses where the need and feasibility of further analysis of feasibility studies, and from the characteristics of courses, curriculum design, teaching courses three areas proposed the idea of building
