The thesis is based both on the generally low production efficiency of domestic large and medium manufacturing enterprises and on the less attention paid on the improvement of industry production efficiency. The full-text takes the applicability and desirability as the springboard, using a series of methods to make a comprehensive production improvement research on the TY plant’s production process of circular cooler pallet through the systematic analysis and local refinement.Supported by the Industrial Engineering (IE)’s theoretical system, the text integrated use of production efficiency analysis, process analysis, and logistics planning techniques and methods to analyze the process flow and process method of the circular cooler pallet in different angles, from the aspects of workshop facilities planning layout, workshop logistics, key process technology to the key process design process methods.On this basis, applying facility and equipment planning and layout methods, Taguchi process optimization method and joint operation analysis to improve the logistics system of riveting workshop, technology of material cutting process and welding technology respectively based on the basic process of metal structural components’ production. After the improvement, the total logistics produced in the process of completion 48 units’circular cooler pallet reduced by 15.25%, the period of cutting process reduced by 35.7%, the physical exertion of workers under the cutting process reduced significantly and, shortened the pendulum welding process by 45.28% on average at the same time. Finally, Proposed the vantage point of the production process’variability reduction and the specific measures to reduce variability for metal structure production process based on applying the variability reduction theory to the process of circular cooler pallet’s production management, making the efficiency improvement item have conditions to be implemented in this industry and, making the improvement outcomes to be consolidated.
