Sheet hydroforming technology is the most recent decades, the rapid development of new plastic processing technology , to complete the forming of the complex sheet parts and obtain a better surface quality , and can greatly save the cost of the mold . Small quantities , many varieties of market demand , to further promote the application of sheet metal hydroforming technology , but the forming process parameters ( the hydraulic loading path BHF setting) is difficult to determine , using repeated tryout production , cost a lot time and resources . With computer assisted analysis will help designers to solve this problem . ? Topics research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation project \For sheet metal hydroforming technology characteristics , based on the platform of UG NX , developed a sheet metal hydraulic forming simulation pre - processing system . This article for hydraulic sheet metal forming process , combined with the finite element analysis process , the the preprocessing system design thinking , detailed system functional requirements analysis ; way to do data processing of pre - processing system in accordance with the characteristics of the UG system Introduction ; design the framework of the overall structure of the system . Papers on hydraulic sheet metal forming simulation key technology to carry out a detailed analysis of the pre - treatment system , the principle of the division of sheet metal grid optimization tools grid parameters ; forming and purely hydraulic tools to hydroforming automatic assembly problems ; variety of hydraulic curve definition loading mode and BHF were designed for two different hydroforming . Finally, two typical car outside cover : automobile front fender and the car roof , for example , the application of the system to create a finite element analysis model , the solver FASTAMP and after processing to calculate and display the results . By a large number of tests , the system has a friendly interface , simple operation , the process is clear , powerful , stable performance .
