In low power applications , in order to reduce cost, single-stage power factor correction (PFC) technology more and more people's attention . Single stage PFC technique is the PFC converter and DC / DC converters together , sharing a switch and a control circuit , while improving the power factor and fast adjustment of the output voltage . In this paper, single-stage PFC technology for a more detailed analysis. Boost first studied the basic single-stage PFC converter , a detailed analysis of its working principle and characteristics , pointing out that existing single- stage PFC converter , you must solve two problems , namely how to improve the efficiency of the converter and control of intermediate storage able capacitor voltage at 450V or less.
