The harmonious movement of main-axis motor, stepping motor and other models is the emphases and difficulty when the high speed industry embroidery working. In order to satisfy the need of real-time, precision and quality of embroidery, a controller of high speed industry embroidery is developed based on ARM9+Windows CE in the paper.On the hardware design part , after analyzing the principle of high-speed industrial embroidery machine, the needs is clear, all the modules of the system carried out a detailed design, and I / O resources and interrupt resources have a reasonable distribution. A CPLD part is expanded to solve the lacking of counter and timer. In the main-axis part, in order to improve the speed of embroidery, the system takes servo motor as the main-axis motor. After analyzing the characteristic of the motor, the motor is working in speed model, the system has completed the design of hardware modules AD to provide analog voltage control signals for the servo drives. Combined with the CPLD counter unit, completed the hardware design of photoelectric encoder, at the same time with the CPLD timer unit, completed the stepper motor drive circuit design. Also according to the function of the system needs, complete the hardware design of the cut line, change color and drawbars limit.In driven design part, after analyzing the characteristics and working mechanism of the Windows CE, multi-threaded and interrupt handling mechanism is used to meet requirement of real-time. The design key point and range of Windows driver is discussed deeply, and it is taken serious to research the cooperation request, complete the driver of main-axis part and stepping motor part by the means of stream driver, realize the function of normal embroidery, stopping at 100°position, setting speed and position testing of main-axis motor, and realize the function of movement of frame normally and by hands of stepping motor. We get good result from the test of cooperation between main-axis motor and stepping motor.Use the method of object and model to complete the planning of software design, and finish the design of task about normal embroidery, cutting lines, break detection and changing color.Finally, to meet the demand of internal pattern format of the high-speed industrial embroidery machine, we designed a new type of pattern format called BSB ourselves. In the text, the pattern format structure and custom methods are described detailedly. High-quality pattern format is one of the key technologies research and development in research of embroidery machine.At present, the performance of China-made high-speed industrial embroidery machine still lags behind others abroad.The task is to develop one high capability and low cost embroidery machine controller. It has a good influence to the embroidery industry.
