In modern automotive industry, more and more enterprises become to notice about the importance of logistics, which requires the supply chain to work and develop as a whole more than ever. Meanwhile, the development of logistics is referred to the height of strategy, and gradually has the critical impact on enterprise’s long term perspective. This article introduces the theories of logistics strategy.The gap between the development strategy, the industrial environment, and the current logistics status requires Yanfeng Visteon to establish a specific logistics strategy. The article elaborates how Yanfeng Visteon should set up its own logistics strategy, which includes three parts: First, to improve the internal efficiency. Yanfeng needs to upgrade the logistics standardized system with a more effective application of IT system, also maximize the utilization of existed resources from a group platform perspective; Second, to consolidate the external competency. Yanfeng needs to strengthen the relationship between suppliers and customers, even to establish the alliance; Third, to set up a proper and suitable organization system which is the basis to ensure the operation and execution of the logistics strategy.In addition, the article also brings up some new issues generated during Yanfeng Visteon’s logistics strategy development, which is the new subject for future research.
