A Study on Netowrking for 3G Transmission Network

With the development of mobile technology,3G technology has become the focus of the current contents of mobile network construction. How to make better use of existing resources to carry 3G services network, how to select the appropriate transmission technology and networking solutions to adapt to the development of 3G services is one of concern to operators. Based on this background, This study is one of the 3G technology, WCDMA network transmission network solutions, and analysis of the current mainstream optical transmission technology.Paper first introduces the current optical transmission technology,3G technology development overview, Defined stage of development on the optical transmission,3G technology,.Then introduces the main features of optical transmission technology and networking in the form, on the basis of which anasys the demand of WCDMA neworking to transmission network. Analysis of the main transmission technology solutions bearing 3G transmission technology, and reached the MSTP technology and N×E1 IMA networking, is the most suitable period of the current development of WCDMA networks carrying the main form of transport.Then on a local network operator’s transmission network WCDMA specific analysis, design and planning a more detailed program of 3G transmission.. In the program, specific analysis of the local WCDMA system and radio access layer core layer of the circuit transmission network needs, from a transmission backbone layer, the convergence layer and access layer and the base station access to cable networks and other aspects of planning a specific program, including the device model, port number, speed, topology, etc.Finally, the investment of planning program was estimated to provide some reference for the operators in the 3G network construction.
