With the rapid development of wireless communication , as the combination of the IP network and mobile communications technology , mobile wireless ad hoc network (MANET) technology has been studied widely . All along , the routing protocol is a hot and difficult Ad hoc network research . Wireless MANET research mostly based simulation environment , and the concrete realization of this thesis is focused on Ad hoc on-demand routing protocols study , carried out a detailed analysis of the works of AODV and operation , and through the GloMoSim simulation platform Ad hoc networks in several typical routing protocols for packet delivery ratio , transmission delay , network overhead and other key performance assessment results show that AODV protocol has good overall performance . Paper in-depth study on the basis of analysis of the Linux system routing protocol features , ad hoc networks on-demand routing protocol implementations in embedded Linux system solution . Summarized and compared several common demand routing implementation is completed based on ( ? ) Ilter functional framework for on-demand routing software design , routing queries , routing replies , as well as updates and maintenance process . Embedded hardware platform design and 802.11 wireless card support , the actual the MANETs test environment . On the test bed platform to achieve AODV routing protocol , and its transmission delay and jitter performance measurement and evaluation . Finally, further analysis of the key technologies based on the AODV routing application needs and business , given the packet processing flow .
