In this paper, based on the survey of psychosocial factors affect the demand of urban residents in China Popular Sports , use of literature, consulting experts and survey method , psychosocial factors affect the demand of China's urban residents Sports : Sports Demand motivation , cognition, groups of residents on sports and culture system to study and explore the results show that : the demand motives choice of the Sport for urban residents in turn : fitness , entertainment , herd behavior , social interaction needs etc.; residents with a certain degree of understanding of the mass sports activities , but due to the limitations of the objective conditions , the specific implementation there are still large gaps ; primary groups of people mass sports needs related groups , eager groups followed , limited the influence of the sub- groups ; Chinese traditional culture , especially the Confucian culture , the demand for mass sports will have some negative effects . Paper also on restricting current of mass sports demand the development of a number of social psychological factors put forward the corresponding development countermeasures , results advocate the correct mass sports consumption concept , to form a healthy and civilized mass sports consumer psychology , to promote the development of our mass sports needs of have some practical significance .
