Along with the development of economy and society,the traffic problem is more and more prominent. The traffic jam and the frequent traffic accidents caused great losses to the national economy,social development and people’s life and work with. The police car on-board monitor system is designed and developed for a series of public security projects concerning people’s livelihood which include the traffic problem.Polices can use this system on-board during motorized patrolling to solve these problems caused by penal sum of breach of regulations, violations judgment,obtaining evidence and disputing judgment.Due to the clear facts,the high accurate rate and the strong evidences,this monitoring system can decrease the disputes effectively in traffic police’s law enforcement problems because of insufficient evidence.This thesis takes ARM LPC2368 chip of NXP company as the core and has designed and realized an embedded police car on-board monitor system(1)This system combines with demand analysis and researchful situation in this area home and abroad,compares with all kinds of mainstream microprocessor and embeded real time operating system.It also brings up a high-performance and lowcost general design scheme of ARM+μC/OS-Ⅱ.(2)According to the general scheme, the hardware part takes ARM LPC2368 chip of NXP company as the CPU and combines with peripheral circuit to realize six parts which include position machine and serial ports in mainboard,USB and three network communica-tion modules, Spark radar and serial ports in mainboard communication module, PTZ movement controlled by motor drive module, HCI module,limit control module of PTZ movement.(3)According to the actual demand of system,we compress some protocols and realize Modbus serial communication and UDP network communication base onμC/OS-Ⅱwhich are all accomplished on basis of deep rearch about existing spot industrial protocol,Modbus protocol and embedded TCP/IP protocol.The On-board monitor system proposal which put forward by thsis paper, strive to solve applicable to the actual application requirements, and achieve high intelligence and easy operation monitoring system.
