we set up the classical spinal cord injury (SCI) ratsmodels to study the adjustment of electroacupuncture tobladder-sphincter dyssynergia (BSD). Cystometrogram andsynchronous electromyography were performed in SCI ratsbefore and after treating them with electroacupuncture .Weobserve the changes of several parameters, such asmicturition max pressure (MMP ),bladder volume(BV ),voided volume (VV ),residual volume (RV ),voidingeffciency (VE ),bladder duration of micturition (DM) andthe external urethal sphincter muscle (EUS )electromyography. And we fundmentally explored themechanism by what electroacupuncture can treat diseases. Results: Compared with the normal spinal cord rats(NSC ) parameters befor treatment, RV increased more than20 fOlds, DM increased 2.7 fOlds. Synchronouselectromyography also had obviously changes. But aftertreating about 30 days, all parameyers of therapy group hadobviously changes compared with those of untherapygroup.we also fOund the procaine hydrochloride-- couldblock affection of acupuncture. Conclusion: Acupuncture treat disease through nervesinnervated bladder and sphincter. Acupuncture can recoveryBSD to some extellt.
