Objective: To study Chinese medicine the basil capsule inhibit transplanted hepatoma in rats by hepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) after the invasion and recurrence of the role and mechanism concept Chaluo Le capsule intervention rat hepatoma simulation after TACE local tumor angiogenesis , apoptosis and cell movement , Chinese medicine basil capsule auxiliary TACE provide a theoretical basis for the treatment of liver cancer . Method : experimental study is divided into two parts , and of rats transplanted liver cancer in animal models to establish and TACE standardized. The liver capsule inoculated tumor block the establishment of rat Walker-256 liver transplantation model , modeling after successful implementation of the model rats TACE treatment . 2 , Basil capsules inhibit invasion and metastasis in experimental rats transplanted after TACE , the experiment is divided into five groups : non- TACE group , in TACE saline group , TACE basil small dose group , TACE basil in dose group , TACE basil large dose group, treatment the TACE group analog TACE , TACE the basil groups analog TACE treatment given large capsules orally , three different doses of basil . Light microscope liver histopathological changes , immunohistochemical method to detect the experimental rats after TACE HCC lesions within the protein expression of iNOS and OPN ; serological methods to detect the level of serum sICAM-1 and AFP . Results : Herbal basil capsule iNOS and OPN expression in HCC tissues can be significantly decreased , compared with non- TACE group , and TACE saline group significant difference ( P lt; 0.01 , P lt; 0.05 ) ; significant reduction in postoperative rats serum sICAM-1 and AFP levels , compared with non- TACE group and TACE saline group there is a significant difference ( P lt ; 0.01 , P lt ; 0.05) ; capsules after high-dose rats tumor after basil capsule treatment TACE basil reduce tumor weight decreased ( P lt; 0.01 ) . Conclusion : Chinese medicine basil capsule by local angiogenesis , inhibition of the transplantation liver cancer after TACE promote tumor cell apoptosis , decreased cell movement , interference with tumor cell invasion and recurrence after TACE . The experimental auxiliary liver cancer TACE treatment for traditional Chinese medicine basil capsule provides a theoretical basis .
